Dear Flock Friends,
In discussing what our corps needs to be in order to be "Christ's body" in our world, we agreed that while we have a warm, accepting fellowship on Sunday morning, this fellowship is often lacking beyond the corps walls. This small group, or flock, is designed to help us be intentional about knowing each other and share more than a Sunday greeting.
The church has been divided into flocks with a shepherd whose goal is to know you better and to be sensitive to any needs you may have. Primarily, we want you to know that a shepherd is praying regularly for you. In addition to your shepherd, there is a prayer chain consisting of folks in our corps who have agreed to pray specifically for needs you want to share. We will communicate more about this prayer ministry.
Nathan and I are the shepherds for this flock. We are excited about the opportunity to serve and know you better! We hope that this experience will allow you grow closer to Christ in a more intimate community of believers.
